Yin Yoga is a complementary yoga practice to the more dynamic and invigorating yoga styles that are predominant today. Known as the "Quiet Practice," it gently introduces the the idea of relaxation, silence, and stillness to our overly active world and overly stimulated mind and body.
In Yin Yoga, postures are held passively for several minutes in order to access a safe and positive ‘stress’ on the deep layers of connective tissue in the body. Foundations of Yin Training will focus on the physical aspects of this practice.
Yin yoga is a practice that compliments all activities. Learn to teach, share, and experience a practice that calms, heals, and revjunates the body.
